When I first went to Dr. Shimizu, I thought I would not have a good time.I was completely wrong!! He is like no other dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Shimizu. He has superior skills and will make you feel like a person and not a patient. He actually listens and makes you feel comfortable. He seeks perfection in his work and will not settle for a middle of the road result which I admire. I initially went to his office for a check up with my wife. We both needed braces, but didn't have the time it took for completing a traditional program. Dr. Shimizu recommended a program called the 6 month smile. It took right around 6 months to complete and I never regretted our decision to enroll in this program from the beginning and even now. The braces were virtually invisible!!!! A lot of people didn't notice. I even had to resort to pointing them out and waiting for people to stop getting close to my face and staring. It was a good problem to have. On top of that, Dr. Shimizu made countless adjustments and made sure every tooth lined up perfectly. I was very happy with the results. I even had a problem with my front teeth. Since I got my permanent two front teeth in, I had brown spots. Dr. Shimizu fixed it in one setting. I was afraid of veneers or very abrasive procedures, and Dr. Shimizu actually listened and executed!! I now have a ton of confidence and smile all the time where I would not dare show my teeth before. Honestly, Dr. Shimizu changed my life.

I'm not big fan of the dentist but definitely this place changed me. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and they made my visits as fun as possible. The office is very clean and comfortable. Dr.Shimizu is not just great dentist, he is also very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Shimizu is very kind and caring. I am so glad that I have found a great new dentist!

Technology in this office was light years ahead of my last dentist. I heard about Dr Shimizu from a friend who did a smile makeover. Her smile looks terrific. She told me about the time and effort Dr Shimizu puts into his work, so I decided to visit Dr Shimizu for an implant. I did not look forward to spending time in a dental chair, but Dr Shimizu and staff made it a good experience. Dr Shimizu took time to make certain the tooth matched color and worked properly. It is great having the tooth again!

I used to be a part of Dr. Shimizu's staff, and even though I'm no longer there, I refuse to let anyone else touch my teeth! He is a perfectionist and is very skilled at what he does. His staff is great, and there's no one I'd recommend more! I'll ALWAYS come back!!!!

Found Dr Shimizu nearly two yrs ago. Reminds me of going to the dentist when I was younger when the Dentist did it all. He still has a hygienist but Dr Shimizu does most of the exam. You can tell he likes high tech; you get to see your teeth and compare to any visit on a bid screen. Maybe not a good thing for some . Probably the most important item is that he doesn't try to push his services on you. I have been going to the dentist for over 50 yrs. Have seen many dentists and know the condition of my teeth. I received an honest assessment and I will go back. I should also mention that his office is very convenient and has a great view of southwest Houston from his seventh floor office. Parking is free and easy.

I was always afraid to visit a dentist but after visiting your office you and your team make feel so comfortable.
